This event is promoting healthy choices.  

Any students who bike to school on

Today we found a caterpillar trying to make a J!

 He's not quite ready so he didn't stay hanging from the top. 

 We read about the life cycle of a butterfly. 
Ask me what happens. 

 What happens to the caterpillar's skin?

 A shell forms and it is called a... chrysalis. 

 We started an art project about a butterfly's life cycle!

 What did we paint first? 
...the background! 

 We finished our Q pages. 

Mrs. Reimer read us a book about creativity. 
Ask me what happened in this book. 

 What did Molly Lou see in the clouds? 
She was being imaginative and looking at the pictures they made in the sky!

We read another page from "A butterfly is patient".
What do butterflies drink? 
How do they drink... with their tongue (proboscis). 

 We started painting the butterfly...
What is left in our life cycle?

We shared a beautiful book with Room 8.
