Please join us for the Kindergarten Assembly on Thursday May, 7, 2015 at 11.00 am. All parents, families and friends are invited. We would love to have you come and enjoy our Kindergarten students perform.

We have been practicing hard for our assembly!
Please come see us tomorrow (May 7) morning.
We read a book for the letter Y.
 Ask me about this book.
How does George treat Bartholomew?

 Subitize the trees.
 Find the rhymes...
lumpy
grumpy
stumpy
plumpy
Why did George treat Bartholomew so kindly?
Because he loves him!
 Assembly practice.

 We finished Y.
Ask me what starts with Y...
What sound does it make?
Imran noticed that yo yo uses the same letters twice!
Good observation.

Centre time learning.

We read about some animals we will see at the zoo.
What shape is the snake making... what letter?
Ask me to read the pattern on the lemur.
 What is the tiger's pattern?
Ask me to read the zebra's pattern.
How many whiskers does this animal have?
We have four whiskers on each side too!
How many altogether... eight!
What kind of lines does this animal have... vertical lines!
Butterflies are special because they are... symmetrical.
What does symmetrical mean?
What patterns are on this fish?
Ask me to read this pattern.
What kind of lines are on the animals? ...horizontal
What kind of lines are the trees? ...vertical
Ask me what patterns this turkey has.
 More practicing!
Please come see us tomorrow (May 7th) at 11 am!
Thanks,
Miss Anderson
