Friday, June 26

We had a wonderful last day together!

We started off with a Farewell assembly for Grade 6 students and teachers.

We had a nice snack time together with Room 8.

We practiced our dances for our afternoon Dance-Off!
We were good audience members while Room 8 was practicing.
 Getting ready for our dance!

Thank you Kindergarten for your hard work this year!
I enjoyed being your teacher!

Thursday, June 25

Our day was full of excitement!
We had a pancake breakfast.
It was great to see some of you parents there!

Check out Room 8's blog to see more pictures!

We read...
 Ask me about this book.
What happened to Princess Leora?

 What did she do...
The boy was being... kind, generous and helpful.

What happened to the balloon she planted?

We went around to different rooms doing activities.
Ask me what my favourite activity was.

Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow for the last day of school!

Thanks,
Miss Anderson

Today we started off our day with Room 8.
Mrs. Malik showed us their caterpillars.
Ask me about them.

What is the difference between these caterpillars?
We transferred our garden outside for the end of the year.

Ask me how we did this.

What did we need to dig up with the top of the plant... the roots.

 Here is our Community Garden.
Ask me what is growing here.

We read another special book...
 Ask me about it!
Ask me how to mix colours...
What does a good apology look like?
When we meet someone new what should we do?
Ask me which season these pictures are talking about...
Good days + bad days = ... real life!
 We had our pitas today!
Thank you Little Green Thumbs for the delicious snack.

 We read...
 Ask me about this book.

 What happened each month...

Where did all the rabbits go?

 Centre time learning.

We read a fiction book about imagination!
 Ask me about it.
What is creative about each picture...

Books are magical because they take you to a different place when you read them.
