Today we had a presentation from the Calgary Public Library!
I would love to go to their summer reading programs. 

With my library card we can take out books to read at home... for free!

 He met a butterfly named Bob. 
Where did Bob want directions to... Mexico!
How come he was going to Mexico?

 Where did Oscar want to go? 
How did he find out the truth... by reading books. 

 What was he dreaming of? 
What do I predict is going to happen...

What did he become?

 Did Oscar stay sad about being a moth instead of a butterfly? 
What did he do?

 His brothers thought... that Oscar would come back and fly to the light. 

 What happened to Oscar? 
Where did he go?

Some of us finished our butterfly writing. 
Great writing Kindergartens, you have learned a lot!

 What did we predict the seeds were going to become?

their sizes, shapes and colours...

 What was growing in their garden? 
Ask me if they grew above the soil, on the soil or under the soil...

We started some plasticine art!

 We started kneading white and blue together to make...

We released our butterflies!
We were so excited.

 We noticed eye spots on the butterfly wings! 

 Can you see what we found on a tree?

 Some butterflies didn't want to come out of the net!

 Can you see the proboscis? 

Now the butterflies are free to fly high in the sky.
