Today we found more mould on our pumpkin!
We read our Poppy poem and did the actions together.

Ask me to show you the actions.
We kept working on letter P and number 2.
I can write them in the air for you!
Here we are finding 2 on the die.
After recess, each of us got poppies and we had our Remembrance Day Assembly.
Thank you for sitting so nicely, Kindergartens!
This instrument was played during the assembly.
Ask me what it is called (bagpipes).
We read from the book
and saw a video clip of the bird on the cover.
Ask me what the bird is called (a toucan!)
After lunch we did a science experiment using eggs.
Ask me how we separated the yolk from the white...
...we used a water bottle to suck it up!
The yolk broke and it lost its shape.
We added food colouring to mix yellow with green, red and blue.
Liam noticed the plates make a triangle in the centre.
Great experimenting, Scientists!

Christmas Fundraiser
A catalog from Purdy's Chocolatier has been sent home with one of your children yesterday. This is an opportunity to purchase gifts for Christmas or other celebrations and at the same time support our VHS students. Please return by November 21st.
Thanks and have a great long weekend!
See you on Wednesday,
Ms. Anderson
