Parent Council would like to thank you for participating in the Purdy’s Fundraiser.

Orders will not be taken after Tuesday, November 24^th.

Orders can be picked up during conferences on Thursday, December 4^th and Friday, December 5^th

Today we read part of 

 

and talked about keeping places clean. 

Ask me what happens if everyone throws garbage on the ground.

(The ground gets dirty and messy)

We investigated the room to find the letter S. 

 

 

We had fun making the letter S with our bodies.

 

Before recess we read the green pages in 

and saw all sorts of green vegetables. 

See if I remember what this vegetable is..

..a zucchini!

A zucchini has a stem like a pumpkin. 

We learned that lizards, frogs and grasshoppers can hide in grass because they are green.

                                                

Ask me what camouflage means...

(they can hide and blend in where they are)

After recess we gathered twigs to use later this week in our cool colour artwork.

After lunch we read 

and saw bright colours

and dark colours. 

Before joining Room 8 we read

and learned that lions can camouflage too!
