Why: A great opportunity to build community in Vista Heights! We love learning!
Today we started a new letter... Mm!
Ask me what sound it makes.

What starts with M...
We made M with our bodies!
Which is the uppercase... which is the lowercase...
We read a book for M!

Ask me what happened in this book.
What did he wish for at the end?
We started toucan art and read...

How are these birds hiding?
Can you see the rhyme?
Subitize the penguins..
Subitize the ostriches... subitize the baby ostriches...
We did an experiment with worms today.
Ask me what we did...
Worms were making letters...
What did the worms like best...
the apples, orange juice, water or soap...
What happened to the worms in the soap?
We read...
Ask me to point to the rhyme...
Subitize the butterflies...
Where is the rhyme?
What happened in this story?
What does it mean to scamper and scurry...
Who came to the dog house?
What country did we learn about for M...
What colours are in the Mexican flag?
How are these areas different...
the desert is dry and hot,
the rainforest has lots of rain and green plants...
What animals live in Mexico...
What bird migrates to Mexico...

What language do they speak in Mexico... Spanish.
Where do Mexicans buy their food... from markets.
Ask me what sound it makes.
