Our virtue of the month is: Forgiveness. 


Ask me how I can forgive others. 
Today we practiced breaking numbers apart.

We learned about the lifecycle and parts of an ant. 

 
How many body parts does an ant have? 
Ask me to explain these to you. 

 

 

We read about ants... 

 Ask me what is special about ants...  ...they are very strong!!

 ...they talk to each other by tapping antennae

 ...they make noise using their bodies

 What is the lifecycle of an ant? 

What do mandibles help ants do? 

...pick up objects and cut plant leaves.

What helps us cut food...

We read a wordless book...

The Lion and the Mouse.
Ask me about this book, what happened? 

 Who is the predator... who is the prey?

What did the lion do?  

What happened to the lion? 

What did the mouse do?

Why did the mouse save the lion? 

 Ask me what I learned from this book...

Do we always get what we want? 
No, but we have what we need.
Remember to be thankful! 

We learned about some interesting insects. 

 How many eggs do they lay? 

Do the adult insects live through the winter?
