Believe & Achieve – Celebrating Families Learning Together
Who: Vista Heights School students and their families. Please bring at least one adult and remain with your family.
When: Thursday, April 23 6:30-7:30 pm
Where: Vista Heights School (see the map of the rooms you will visit when you enter)
What: Each teacher has prepared engaging thinking tasks that families will complete together. Families will visit as many rooms and complete as many tasks as they choose. The thinking tasks include such skills as solving puzzles, speed stacking, building and more. You will have the opportunity to practice such virtues as perseverance, creativity and courage. It is not a race. The prize is spending time together as a family and learning together.
Why: A great opportunity to build community in Vista Heights! We love learning!
Today we read
Where are the Ms... what sound do they make? 7 and 3 make... 10!
5 and 5 make... 10!
How many mice are there...
on the bottom... at the top... altogether...
We finished our Toucan Art!
Kindergartens did a beautiful job.
We read another book for M...
Ask me about this book, what happened?
What sounds are at the end... what does it sound like?
Subitize the windows...
What did the monster do with Mrs. Mo?
Ask me to tell you step by step.
We learned about a new animal...
Ask me what I learned!
What do they eat?
How many claws do they have?
What are baby meerkats called...
Are meerkats mammals?
Where do meerkats live?
What else lives in a burrow...
We practiced walking safely for our Field Trip tomorrow!
Ask me how we will stay safe...
Please return your Field Trip for tomorrow morning so everyone can join us!
Thanks,
Miss Anderson
